Flat Cables

Flat cables are used as trailing cables for cranes, open field conveyors and shelve service devices.

Flat cables offer the following advantages:

* Extremely small bending radius

* High flexibility

Minimum waste of space *

Technical Specification

In the voltage designation of U₀/U(U_m), The rated voltages of the cables considered in BS and IEC standards are as follows: U₀/U(U_m)=0.3/0.5(0.6) - 0.6/1(1. 2) KV.
U₀ is the rated power frequency voltage between conductor and earth or metallic screen.
U is the rated power frequency voltage between conductors.

U_m is the maximum value of the "highest system voltage" for which the equipment may be used.

- No. of cores : 2 to 5 cores (Parallel)

-Conductor material: Plain/Tinned copper

-Conductor type: Solid(Class1)/Stranded(class2)/Fine stranded (Class 5) - round

-Insulation: Polyvinyl chloride ( PVC)

-Uninsulated protective conductor (if applicable )

-Sheath: Polyvinyl chloride (PVC)
